The Challenge
The client, an online educator with a growing content library, was constantly fielding direct messages from students requesting help finding videos—even though the content already existed. The problem wasn’t a lack of material, but poor discoverability. Videos were stored across different platforms, untagged, and hard to search—leaving students frustrated and educators overwhelmed with repetitive support.
The Solution
We built an AI-powered assistant using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques with a Pinecone vector database and n8n automations. The assistant was embedded in a custom web interface, allowing students to ask natural-language questions and receive direct links to relevant video content. Behind the scenes, transcripts were indexed for semantic search, enabling the assistant to surface exactly the right segment—even within long videos.
